He has really made incredible improvements. CDH babies are special, strong, and individuals. Charlie is no exception. Here are a few videos to show you what he is like. The older one was taken a few weeks ago when he was still on the oscillating ventilator. That is about all the movement he would make in single day. The newer videos show you how awake he can be, and spends hours just looking around. One video shows him with the hiccups...they look like they hurt, but he got them all through Patty's pregnancy and still gets them often!

The videos are precious!! Charlie looks great and the little baby sounds and hiccups are adorable. Many prayers that Charlie stays strong and continues to make improvements with his vent settings!! Go Charlie Go!!!

Super news. Those videos are precious. You are right, he is very alert. And absolutely adorable.
Hope y'all are finding some time to rest while you have around the clock "babysitters."
LOVED the videos!!!!!!
He looks GREAT!!! Thank you guys so much for sharing Charlie with us. We went to UCSF for our 34 week appointment, and with Kaden's birth right around the corner, it is very inspiring to see the positive side of CDH. We got to meet baby Addison today. She has been on ECMO since Friday, but seems to be doing good. I will keep Charlie in my prayers, that he continues to grow stronger every day and that he is home in no time :)
