Just returned from the hospital. Patty and Vince are both doing well, if not a little tired.
Vincent Charles is a trooper. He even took a few breaths of his very own before having to be hooked up to some machines after he was born. It took a team of five doctors to hook him up to those machines, he was being so stubborn! The doctors at this time are looking to keep everything status quo. So far that has been the case and Vincent is doing well.
Vincent's official birth weight was 7lbs. 11oz. and he is 20 1/2 inces long. Vince was able to take some pictures of the baby, and we were trying to figure out which parent he gets his good looks from :) Hopefully we'll be able to provide those pictures by next posting and you'll be able to help us decide.
Patty and Vince continue to be greatful for everyones thoughts and prayers. Patty is scheduled to return home from the hospital on Saturday. We should expect to receive the complete update soon after. Until then, stay tuned for pictures!

Glad to hear he's a fighter! It should bode well for him. We will continue to pray!
Sending Vincent positive thoughts and energy that he remains stable and will be able to have his surgery soon! Hang in there Patty and Vince and stay strong for that little boy. Take care of yourselves too, for he needs you to be strong.
Many prayers for Vincent, Tracy Meats - mom to Ian, born with a LCDH on 4/3/04 and WY and CO State Rep. for CHERUBS
