Its STILL on...

Patty and Vince have been at the hospital for more than a day now, and still no baby! Things are pretty slow going so far. The doctors have been giving Patty some medicine, in hopes to move things along a little more quickly. However, things are still moving rather slow.

Doctors come to assess how Patty is doing every 4 hours or so. Both Patty and Gumdrop (actual name to be provided later:) are doing well at this point. Patty has been experiencing some labor pains, which she has said on a scale of 0 to 5 are so far about a 2. We will keep Patty, and Vince's hands and ears, in our thoughts when they reach a 5!

Patty and Vince are thankful for all the thoughts and prayers that have been coming their way from all of their family and friends. I'm sure those thoughts and prayers will continue to come throughout the next few days and nights, and beyond. They also said that they are being well taken care of by the doctors and nurses, and are thankful for all of their help and attention.

Please hurry baby Gumdrop! Mommy is ready, and we can't wait to meet you :)

As more information comes in, I'll be sure to post it for your reading pleasure. Until then, we're still playing the waiting game. Stay tuned...

That, unfortunately, happened to me as well with my first child. The water broke but nothing else happened for hours and hours. The total labor took days, but oh.. the moment it was over it was worth it.

My daughter had some problems though, so here's hoping that yours does not and you get to hold your baby right away. You're in my thoughts...
