A Shout Out to my Buddy, Baby C in NC

My daddy says: SU is going to kick diaper tonight.

My mommy says: don't hold you breath; SU has been known to disappoint in the past.

I say: put your game face on Carter! Basketball season has begun! :-)

We are the D'Angelo's. We met in 7th grade and graduated from high school together. We were married on August 2, 2003. After living in Rochester for a few years, we moved back to our hometown of Syracuse, NY last summer to be closer to family and friends and to start our own family. We found out we were finally pregnant Memorial Day weekend 2008. Three months later we learned that our baby has a Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia (CDH). We used the internet to answer the many questions we have had and learned much from other people's stories they shared. The Story of "Gumdrop"

When we told our friends of our pregnancy, they were ecstatic. One friend deduced that the baby was roughly the size of a gumdrop at that point in time. The baby has since been referred to and lovingly named Gumdrop. Since we have decided to keep the baby's sex a suprise, this nickname has become very useful and fitting.
